What the hell gives you the right to stand there and tell me you’re sorry? Your apology is not, nor will ever be accepted. Just get the fuck out of my face. If you were on fire I’d be the one with the box of matches and a conscience as clear as the venom I spit. By now you should see a picture emerging. You will find no absolution here, no mercy; no reprise. The only hatchet buried will be straight between your wretched eyes. You know that I will never forgive yet you’re always crawling your way back into my fucking narrative. Back down before I take leave of my senses. Back off before I do something I almost regret. You are the reason I harbour these visions of violence. You stand in my shadow. I will never know you as the man you claim to be. We may be the same blood but that doesn’t make us family. You seem to be at some discomfort. How does your black heart taste fixed inside your throat? Oh how I wish to see you in throes of asphyxiation, to watch as you choke. To watch as you choke. Better judgment impaired. This is the last time you’ll be warned. Just because we’re blood does not mean I won’t shed yours. I’m beginning to falter; I cannot persist. If you don’t step back I promise… This will not end well for you. I fucking promise… This will not end well for you.

My skin is crawling with corruption. Misery breeds morbid reveries. I, once monolith to virtue stirred by thoughts of devilry. Embedded moral code encumbers designs for self-destruction. Solution rests in the squalor of the miscreant horde. Low. I feel the darkness bleeding deeper inside. There is no one left with whom I can confide. Can’t bear to watch as the end unfolds; this life a curse upon my soul. I am unworthy. My message has fallen on deaf ears for the very last time. I am no saviour. So worthless. Can’t even save myself. I pray for death. I am seeking deliverance and should the chance arise I shall turn and walk away from the light. Low. I feel the darkness bleeding deeper inside. There is no one left with whom I can confide. Can’t bear to watch as the end unfolds; this life a curse upon my soul. Can’t see for the darkness before me; this life a curse upon my soul. Forgive me father for I must sin. I’m on my knees… Please, kill me. Please, kill me. Someone fucking please kill me. Please kill me. Please kill me now.

…So now we know where we stand. Get off your knees, your prayers are worthless. Look to the skies for proof of this rejection. His disrepute is our damnation. Do we perish in time or suffocate in chaos? So now we know where stand. The end is all around us. If this is God’s will he must tire of the human race. This is our providence, sealed inside what remains. Never again will we see the light of day. No matter what we’re already good as dead. Do we wait to die or bring death unto ourselves? Why wait for answers when it’s obvious it’s too late to turn back? This is the day. The day the sky turned to stone. So now we know where we stand. The end is all around us. If this is God’s will he must tire of the human race. This is our providence, sealed inside what remains. Never again will we see the light of day. Nothing could save us from ourselves. Nothing could ever save us now. Even now, in our darkest hour we can see the road ahead. Those who seek the silence need not wait till the end. Let us close our eyes and fade into that which life could never be. Let us sleep forever so we may at last find peace. This is the day the sky turned to stone. Bid farewell to your broken home. This is the day that God turned his back but the reaper remains and is ready to act. This is the day the sky turned to stone. Bid farewell to this broken home. This is the day that God turned his back but the reaper remains, ready to act. So now we know how to die. Even now, in our darkest hour we can see the road ahead. Those who wish for silence need not wait till the end.

about

Then The Wave Came England, UK

We hail from Kent, England. We play whatever genre of metal you choose to define us as. All you need to know is we like to do things our way. Our prime concern is that we and others can enjoy our music, because it's the music that matters. Every listen is a victory, every fan is an honour and, above all else, we do this because we love it.

We are TTWC, and we came to do it heavy.
